Exmoor Ales: Famous Beers from Exmoor Since 1979. Exmoor Ales was one of the pioneer ‘Micro Breweries’ to stand against the onslaught of keg ale flooding the market from the big brewers. Concentrating on crafting ales of character and flavour, we gained a following, helping lead to the cask ale revival of the early eighties. Pick up a selection of bottles including Exmoor Gold, Exmoor Beast and Exmoor Stag.
Exmoor Distillery: Exmoor Distillery is a small family-run distillery, sharing a love for a premium quality gin. They are producers of award-winning gins including wins at the prestigious World Spirits Awards. Also pick up Blackmoor Rum, Barle Valley Botanical Vodka as well as Northmoor Gin in the shop.
Wicked Wolf: Wicked Wolf Exmoor Gin™ is a premium craft gin made from botanicals distilled on Exmoor. The 11 botanicals are individually distilled and then expertly blended on the banks of the picturesque River Lyn, North Devon.
Sandford Orchard: Founded in 2002, they are an independent, family owned and very proud to be based in the oldest working cider mill in the UK, breathing life back into the old building. Their home, in the heart of Devon, is the perfect micro-climate to grow cider apples and they are blessed with some of the finest bittersweet apple orchards in the world. Pick up Devon Scrumpy and Devon Red in store.
Sheppy’s: Nestled between Taunton and Wellington in the heart of Somerset. Sheppy’s are a family-run farm that’s been lovingly crafting premium award-winning craft ciders for over 200 years, making them one of the oldest independent cider makers in the world.
Hancocks Devon Cider: The Hancock family have been making traditional Devon cider for over 100 years, with recipes and skills being handed down for over five generations. They are situated just outside of South Molton in North Devon.
Pump House Spirit Co: Pick up a bottle of their Wild Cherry premium handcrafted liqueur made here on Exmoor.
Wellhayes: On the southern edge of Exmoor you’ll find Wellhayes Vineyard. Pick up a bottle of their Wellhayes Sparkline Wine 2018 in the shop, delicious and refreshing, perfect to enjoy with friends and family on a summers eve!
Croft & Cottage: After a long journey, or a busy day exploring, the last thing you might feel like doing is cooking. Pick up frozen homemade meals from the Village Shop. Its real, home cooked food made with real ingredients and nothing nasty added.
John May Butchers: John May Butchers are a renowned local butchers with the finest products, sourced from the best higher welfare producers in the region, prepared with an age-honed skill and presented to their customers with a farm to fork guarantee that ensures a first class taste experience.
Little Oak Farm: A family run farm based on Exmoor, where they breed rare breed pedigree Middle White pigs and produce quality and award-winning Middle White Pork. The farm is registered with the British Pig Association as an approved producer of rare breed pedigree pork, so you know you are getting the very finest quality pork.
Shapland & Searle Traditional Butchers: Come and pick up one of their delicious pasties! Perfect for picnics.
Coast & Moor: Adventures to Northern Peru unearthed the exceptional beans they use for our Discover and Explore range. With sustainability at our their core they searched for the best decaffeination process for their Retreat coffee… and found it! Find the whole range in store.
Miles Tea and Coffee: The name Miles goes back a long way, in fact, they’ve been blending tea since 1888. Over the years they’ve drunk gallons of tea and coffee, so you can certainly say they know a thing or two about the humble cuppa.
Exmoor Tea: Using some the finest ethical teas and herbs, Exmoor Tea expertly blend a cuppa that is unique and mindfully constructed. 5p from every retail pack purchased goes towards keeping Exmoor beautiful, sharing gratitude and nourishing hope in our future.
Jen’s Pantry: Treat yourself to a delicious cake or tray bake from Jen’s Pantry! Pick up lemon drizzle cake, banana, pecan and salted caramel loaf, coconut chocolate slice, Turkish delight slice, black cherry and almond slice and so many more fabulous cakes.
Exmoor Fudge Kitchen: Each individual bag of fudge is lovingly made using only the best and natural ingredients with no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Made locally in Huish Champflower.
Bawdens the Bakers At Lucy Lou’s: located just down the road in Bampton, Lucy Lou’s supplies us with delicious freshly baked breads.
Brendon Hill Crafts: BHC make a selection of jams, chutneys and marmalades. Pick up a jar of the famous Whortleberry jam to enjoy on holiday or to take as a gift! All of the jams are hand-made in small batches, hand-filled and hand-labelled.
Arthur David: Pick up all your fresh fruit and vegetables in the shop. We have everything you could need to make seasonal salads and lots of vegetables to grill on the BBQ in the summer.
Exmoor Magazine: Exmoor Magazine is a rather special, locally owned, locally produced quarterly for all who love Exmoor, North Devon and the Quantocks. It is a feature-led, high-quality publication collected and loved by locals and visitors alike. Pick up your copy in store.
Exmoor Flag: The Exmoor Flag is a community flag celebrating the unique identity of this beautiful area of Somerset and Devon. Purchase Exmoor Flags and flag gifts in the shop.
The Wilds of Exmoor: Crafted with pure essential oils and natural ingredients a variety of scents are available. Each soap is individually and lovingly packaged in one of 7 designs, each connoting a different aspect of Exmoor and country life .
